Prawns in coconut milk


  • 500g prawn tails
  • 30cl coconut milk
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • olive oil
  • thyme
  • bay leaf
  • hot pepper
  • 7 cl white wine


Sauté finely sliced onions and crushed garlic in olive oil until golden.
Add chopped tomatoes, thyme, bay leaf, hot pepper, and white wine.
Simmer 15 minutes.
Pour in coconut milk, bring to boil, and reduce for 10 minutes on low heat.
add prawns and cook for 5 minutes.
Serve hot.
